Mayfly Guides can accommodate up to 20 guests on a large group trip.  Advanced notice is required depending on the time of year.   
Trip Description:
Half and full day carp trips are walk and wade. This trip caters to our more experienced anglers looking for a new challenge in fly fishing.  Your guide will drop you a pin the day before to schedule your meeting location. From there your guide will be waiting with your days waders and boots ready to go. The walk to your fishing spots can be short or long, depending on the experience you are looking for or your guides recommendation. All casting and techniques are taught to our clients from our friendly expert guides. Guests will spend their day exploring the stillwater hunting experience that carp on the fly is all about.  
Carp on the fly- Salt lake area  (half or full day)

  • Full Day trips will most likely hit multiple bodies of water

What To Bring
  • Sunscreen, hat, polarized sunglasses, rain jacket, extra layer, and a camera for pictures of all the fish you'll catch! Most guides will also take pictures for you and send them to you. Our Guides will take care of the rest.
  • We only fish high quality Sage, Redington rods, reels and wading equipment that are free of charge. Mens, women's and children's sizes are available.​
  • We do not supply Utah or Wyoming fishing licenses. Please purchase them via phone (800) 221-0659 or online from the links below:

We prefer to limit the angler to guide ratio at 1 to 3.  Additional guides will be added accordingly for larger trips. The more guides the better your day will be. 

The minimum age requirement is 8 years old due to liability reasons. If you need help finding a spin fishing guide we can help. Just give us a call. 
Tipping
Our guides put in a lot of effort to make sure you have a great day on the water, and that doesn't only mean catching fish. We think of tipping the same as at a restaurant. Usually 20%-30% is standard. But, at the end of the day its up to you. We just hope you had a fun day.
